Inclement Weather
Inclement Weather Policy
If conditions consist of inclement weather (including, but not limited to, ice, heavy snow, major storm conditions, natural disaster) the test will be rescheduled to a later date. You will be notified as soon as we are able to make a determination of cancellation. The applicant will not be responsible for late cancellation or rescheduling fees under these circumstances.
Test safety conditions will be determined by HST Oregon Administration and/or Examiner on location. Because most of our Examiners travel to remote locations from the Portland/Metro area, please feel free to communicate inclement weather conditions in your area. If you feel your test needs to be rescheduled due to inclement weather in your area that we may not be aware of, please call us at 503-421-3421 as soon as possible.
While we often can still test in normal snow conditions; if chains will be required on the test vehicle due to ice or heavy snow, the test will be rescheduled to a later date.
If conditions consist where the Examiner may not be able to safely commute to the test site, the test will be rescheduled to a later date.
